SSC GD Constable Notice 2024 was released on 24 November 2023. SSC had invited online applications from 24 November 2023 up to 31 December 2023. SSC conducted GD CBT from 20 February 2024 to 7 March and 30 March 2024. The SSC GD Answer key was released on 3 April 2024. Now, the SSC has announced the Result of GD Constable on 10 July 2024. SSC GD 2024 Vacancy Details and Qualification
The SSC 46617 post application forms have been released by SSC to the eligible candidates for the post of General Duty (GD) Constables. The eligibility criteria and the age limit for the SSC GD Constable is 18-23 years on 1.1.2024. Both male and female candidates are eligible for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment. SSC GD 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for SSC GD Recruitment 2024 includes the following stages:
- Stage-1: CBT Written Exam
- Stage-2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

- Male candidates need to finish race, and it must be done within the time of 5 km run in 24 minutes. (Males have to run 1.6 km in 7 minutes.)
- Female candidates should be able to run a distance of 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes (Women run 800 meters in 5 minutes.)
- Candidates from the Ladakh region
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Height:
- Height required for men: 170 cm
- Height required for women: 157 cm
- Relaxations for candidates belonging to specific regions and categories.
Chest (Male Candidates Only):
- Unexpanded: 80 cm
- Minimum expansion: 5 cm
- Relaxations for specific categories.
- Weight: You must weigh according to your height and age.
