The Government of India launched the Ayushman Bharat Yojana 2024 for senior citizens. To provide life insurance coverage to all citizens of India above the age of 70, the Union Cabinet of India has approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana 2024 for senior citizens. Under this initiative, the Government of India will provide life insurance cover of up to Rs 5 lakh to all senior citizens above the age of 70. The Union Cabinet of India headed by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the launch of the 70+ Ayushman Bharat Yojana. All senior citizens who have reached the age of 70 are eligible to get life insurance regardless of their income. According to the Government of India, if the senior family is already covered under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, they will get an additional Rs 5 lakh. PM Modi officially launches PMJAY for Senior Citizens

The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi has announced the launch of PMJAY for senior citizens. According to sources, the officials will release PMJAY for senior citizens on October 29, 2024. All the senior citizens who are selected under the scheme are eligible to get a life insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh. Only Indian citizens above the age of 70 are eligible for this scheme. If the family of the senior citizen is already registered under the scheme, they will get an additional life insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh. This initiative will benefit around 4.5 crore families in India.

Objective of Ayushman Bharat Yojana 2024 for Senior Citizens

The main objective of launching Ayushman Bharat Yojana for Senior Citizens is to provide life insurance coverage to all senior citizens in India. According to the Government of India, a total of 6 crore senior citizens from 4.5 crore families in India will get benefits under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana for Senior Citizens. All the senior citizens selected under the scheme are eligible to get another Ayushman card which will help in getting free treatment in various hospitals in India. Step 1: All the senior citizens of India who meet the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the official website and fill the application form to avail the Ayushman Bharat Yojana for Senior Citizens.

Step 2: When the senior citizens reach the home page of the official website, they have to find the option called Apply Online and click on it.

Step 3: The application form will appear on your desktop screen, citizens have to enter all the details asked and attach all the required documents.

Step 4: After entering all the details, citizens have to quickly go through it and click on the submit option to complete their process.

Step 2: When the senior citizens reach the home page of the official website, they have to find the option called Am I Eligible and click on it.

Step 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen, which the senior citizens will master, enter their mobile number registration code and click on the confirm option.

Step 4: Senior citizens have to enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click on the login option.

Step 5: After successful login, a dashboard will appear on your desktop screen, senior citizens have to click on the download card option to complete their process.
